When John McCain named Sarah Palin as his running mate, I took to the internet and dug up everything I could on her. I was convinced within the first few hours that nobody had vetted this woman. Surely, someone must have known what her record was in Alaska. Surely, someone had to know that she left her little hometown of Wasilla in debt. Surely, someone had to know that she was being questioned about her ethical behavior in the firing of her former brother in law? Surely, someone would question the whole "wild ride" story of the birth of her youngest child?
Well, here it is more than a year later and the stories just keep coming...we are still learning who Sarah Palin is. But just for nostalgic reasons, let's look back at the early hints...
Now I know where all the talk of "a servant's heart" came from.
